How to calculate the limitation period to prefer an appeal

Here is a formula:

Eg:

1. Judgment day 8/2/2010

30 days ends on 8/3/2010

Feb. has got 28 days only, so

2 days added 2 days

___________

Last day of limitation 10/3/2010

To file an appeal

Application for certified copy

given on: 12/2/2010

Copy ready on 1/3/2010

From 12/2/10 to 1/3/10 17 days

Time taken for supply of certified copy

10/3/2010

17/3/2010

__________

Last date of Limitation 27/3/201

2. Judgment day 8/2/10

Application for certified given on 12/2/10

So there is delay of 4 days.

Certified copies ready on 1/3/2010

30 days – 4 days: 26 days remained to file an appeal

1/3/2010(certified copy supplied) + 26 days= 27/3/10

Last day to file an appeal is 27/3/10.
